From the church pastor: "About NWCC: Northwest Community Church is a new gathering of people coming from a variety of backgrounds. We value Relationships, first of all, our Relationship with Jesus Christ, and secondly, the Blessing of One-Another Relationships. Our Sunday Morning Gathering takes place in a Relaxed Atmosphere, Embraces Relational Experiences, and Provides Relevant Teaching. Childcare and Kid's Teaching Time are provided during our Sunday Service. We cultivate Relationships during the week through home-based small groups and a weekly prayer night. NWCC also values Relationships within the community, with outreach events ranging from Summer VBS, which takes place outdoors at a local Apartment Complex, to providing a kid's craft booth at the Arvada Harvest Festival, to volunteering at an inner city ministry, as well as many other outreaches. We gladly welcome visitors, you'll find us in the Randall Room at the Apex Recreation Center on Sundays at 10:30. "

Main Service description: Relaxed atmosphere, coffee, pastries and fellowship are available prior to our service. Music worship is usually four songs in length with acoustic guitars and an emphasis on seeking God's presence. The morning message is based on scripture and challenges people to act on what God is saying through the Word. A simple powerpoint is used for the message and a fill-in-the-blank card is provided. This weekly card is helpful to many who review the message and respond to God's challenges the following week.

There are many types of ministries that Nazarene churches can offer. Due to limited personnel, many Nazarene churches must be selective about the ministries they choose to offer.

One type of ministry that is rarely seen within smaller Nazarene churches is a ministry for Singles. For a lot of churches, people over the age of eighteen who are single are just part of the general congregation. But for Nazarene churches that have a large number of college students, a ministry that is centered on Singles' can be a welcomed idea. Most of the time only Nazarene churches that are larger in size have the necessary staff members or even the need for such a specific ministry.
