It's no secret that there are many different types of ministries that Church of Christ churches can provide. Due to limited personnel, many Church of Christ churches must be selective about the ministries they choose to offer.

For many churches, single people above age eighteen are automatically included in the main congregation, but Church of Christ churches that have larger college crowds and also have a ministry focused on Singles' have a lot of appeal. Usually, only larger Church of Christ churches have the staff necessary or even the need to provide such a specialized ministry.
