We are a Nazarene Church, but with a "Non-Denominational Church feel". Our focus is on Love, Humility, Unity, and Acceptance. (Eph.4:2-3) Our services and programs feature: Great Worship, Great Teaching, (Mike is more of a Teacher most of the time, than a Preacher. Although, he does do both.) Drama skits (5 min skits in the service in order to set up the sermon; as well as Drama stuff in the Children's programs), Great Children's Church, a Youth Ministry that has "a Ministry" and does not just have social activities. Our goal is to show others how great a life with God can truly be, but to do this with an approach that is not pushy, not condemning, but rather is biblical -"with gentleness and respect". (I Peter 3:15) Our starting location is at Traffic Safety Awareness, 747 N.State Hwy 5, in the Save-A-Lot Shopping Center. We hope to move from there and be established in a building by the end of summer 2008. Wednesday night services at 6:30pm, Sunday morning at 10:30am. We also have Small Group meetings in homes. We also use short (5 min.) drama skits to "set up" the sermon. In addition, we use data projector for music, sermon outline. We also use handout sheets. Our sermons are more Teaching oriented than Preaching. Although, we do both of them as God leads. The most important thing about us is we want God to be in control of the Church and not us.
