There are many types of ministries that United Church of Christ churches can offer. But limited staff forces most United Church of Christ churches to be very picky about which ministries they ultimately decide to make available to their congregations.

One ministry that is rare amongst smaller United Church of Christ churches is the Singles' ministry. For most churches, singles over the age of eighteen are simply part of the main congregation, but for United Church of Christ churches that have a large college crowd, an actual ministry focused on Singles' can be a great idea. Most of the time only United Church of Christ churches that are larger in size have the necessary staff members or even the need for such a specific ministry.
