It's no secret that there are many different types of ministries that Lutheran churches can provide. But limited staff forces most Lutheran churches to be very picky about which ministries they ultimately decide to make available to their congregations.

One ministry that is rare amongst smaller Lutheran churches is the Singles' ministry. For most churches, singles over the age of eighteen are simply part of the main congregation, but for Lutheran churches that have a large college crowd, an actual ministry focused on Singles' can be a great idea. Most of the time only Lutheran churches that are larger in size have the necessary staff members or even the need for such a specific ministry.
